This will be the third article of mine at the arts and culture magazine The Last Estate which is a shady affair run by shady people. The article is a mostly true recounting of my time as a hotel detective (read, night watchman) at a large ancient hotel a long time ago. I did have to deal with some customer problems which didn’t make it into the article; it’s mostly about my time there when I was the only person in the building. It was rumored to be haunted and I did have some creepy encounters and moments. I hope this link works, if not Google “the last estate” and you should be able to get there. It would mean a lot if you took a look at it. I haven’t had a substack post in a while so this is pretty good as far as content goes.
